Update on the DVD and ANAAW

JULY UPDATE - 'NOD' and DVD SOON ON THE WAY!

PREORDERS ARE CLOSED: Thanks to eveyone who sent in a pre-order for Camel's new studio album 'A Nod and a Wink' and Camel's first ever DVD, 'Coming of Age'. The wonderful response we received has us working every hour available to get the orders out as quckly as possible. Please do be patient though. Andrew Latimer is autographing all the pre-orders and this takes time. We don't want him to get a cramp in his hand! Once the pre-orders are completed Andrew will be back in the studio working on the up-coming acoustic album and no longer available for signing ordersw.

The official release date for ANAAW is not until 29th July!

ACOUSTIC VOTING: The votes for Camel's acoustic album were great fun. Polls closed last month and Andrew Latimer is busilyworking out arrangements for the top ten. Since he can't know if the voted track will suit an acoustic arrangment, the track listing won't be annouced for awhile yet.

CAMEL REMASTERS: CP has no control or input over Camel's back-catalogue but we are reliably informed that a portion of the catalogue has been remastered and re-issued. Unfortunately, we cannot comment on the quality as Decca Records (now Universal) do not provide the band members with any complimentary copies. There are rumours that the remainder of the back-catalogue will be re-issued in future and CP looks forward to seeing all of Camel's back-catalogue re-issued.

LOGO CONTEST: Camel's search for a 30th Anniversary logo has ended. With all the activity surrounding the new album and DVD, we won't be able to announce the winner just yet. But thanks to all who submitted an idea. What talented folks!
